Rock Out at the SoCal Music Festival!

Not ready for summer to be over yet? Here’s the perfect event to close your summer if you’re staying in downtown San Diego hostels. SoCal Music FestivalMcFarlane Promotions, Inc., RMD Group and Eventvibe.com have combined their efforts to bring the ultimate party to San Diego on Labor Day weekend. The SoCal Music Festival is an all day music extravaganza featuring DJs, live bands and interactive art exhibits in the streets.

The Festival will take place across five blocks between 9th Avenue and Park Boulevard in Downtown San Diego’s East Village. There will be four stages of music, featuring Cold War Kids, Designer Drugs, Felguk, Krewella, Norin & Rad, Too Short, Family Wagon, Hyena, Vokab Kompany and many more. Throughout the day, artists will create life-sized sculptural art to add an interactive element to the festival. The day will close with a spectacular fireworks show.  Some of the best Southern California extreme outdoor sports athletes will show off their skateboarding skills on the streets. There will also be many other sports zones in the festival vicinity.

No need to drink and drive as there will be a FREE designated driver shuttle home to anywhere in San Diego County from 7pm to 12:30am on 9th and G Street. Be prepared to wait in line!
